The Orff approach is a way of introducing and teaching children about music on a level that they can easily comprehend. Using the Orff approach and the teacher’s original songs for kids, students will learn about rhythm, melody, harmony, texture, form and other elements of music. Students learn these concepts by speaking, chanting, singing, dancing, movement, acting and playing instruments. Improvisation, composition and a child's natural sense of play are encouraged.

Classes for the Children Music Playgroup are offered on every Saturday, either from 10:00am - 11:00am or from 11:00am - 12:00 noon. For class details, click here. To register, click here for application form.
